Hi Sylvian.
Good to make your online aquaintance.

We had fried bread when I was a youngster, much younger than now.
I slice of bread and marge or fried bread was better than starting the day on an empty stomach.Since becomming responsible for myself I usually start the day with several cups of tea, unrtil about 18 years ago these were accompanied by a few cigarettes, but I quit that habit.............thank goodness

Hi David

I'm the late nighter on here :-D

we always used to have fried bread done in bacon fat.

Now, I sometimes do it in either olive oil or canola oil ......................... not that I make it very often.

Fried bread isn't usually on the menu over here, even for a "full" breakfast.

Canadian full breakfasts usually have hash browns (or another kind of potato), and toast
