Good morning all.....thank you for breakfast Sylvs.......and the lunch sounds absolutely wonderful... <3

Glad you enjoyed your day of retail therapy......it does do us good at times doesn't it?? :-D

I've been busy preparing not only Sunday lunch (roast) but also a couple of chicken casseroles for my daughter to freeze.

She really struggles with cooking and has taken to ordering from Wiltshire Farm Foods and then I provide the rest mostly. Wouldn't care if I actually enjoyed cooking.......but I don't :-(

I'd rather iron. :-D :-D :-D :-D

I went down town .................... it's about 3 months since I last went down to the shops by myself! That's counting being away, the cold, and the foot!

I had bought OH a belt for Christmas. He told me 34" ..................nope, I should have bought a 38"

I took it back today, found the larger size, and then went and asked if I could exchange it ................. it was bought on Nov 24, 91 days ago.

Sales Assistant said "Yes, of course"

Then he had to phone a superior, explain the time lag ............. and was given the code to punch in the register.

Not only that ....................... but I got it a the same price that I had paid back in November, even though there had been a slight increase in price!

THAT's what I call service!

Not only that ................. but I then found 2 sweaters, in style and colours that I love, at 75% off, and 3 long long silk or chiffony scarves for the same deal.

I had a good day of retail therapy!!

:-D :-D :-D

Cynthia Report 23 Feb 2013 07:59

Good morning... :-D

Thank you for breakfast Sylvs.......toast please and, maybe, just one sausage pattie...naughty, but nice. ;-)

Sounds as though it was a mixed bag for everyone who went out last night then... :-S

We've been invited out tonight to a surprise birthday party but, because unfamiliar situations can affect OH, I don't think we'll be going. He's already getting anxious about it and that can make him 'go slow and shaky' and he finds that rather embarrassing.

I've made an executive decision to politely decline but, to pop round and see the birthday boy next week.........that will make OH much happier.... :-)

Must get my shower......see you later ~~~~~

Gins I thought the film was about a plane crashing it is and it isnt. Its more to do with the story of Denzel Washingtons character which he plays very well My Oh thought it was great.

I'm on the fence but wouldn't say don't go and see it can't really tell you what its about without spoiling it for you. I f you do go and see it PM me so we don't spoil it for others :-)
