been out to dinner, had a lovely time, and the meal was quite fantastic, and home late .....................




so it's "help yourself" breakfast time :-D





Porridge is bubbling away

Selection of cold cereals

bacon, ham, sausage patties, mushrooms, tomatoes etc are all in the fridge


Breads, croissants, barm cakes, Danish are in the bread bin


Tea, coffee and juices over >>>>>>>>>>>

Hello friends,

No more spots so hopefully not chickenpox :-D

We had GD today her Mum (DIL) taught her to say " Happy 50th Birthday" when it was her Nans birthday last year (the other gran not me) she is practising for my OH's birthday in June.

Today I asked her what age her Nan was and she said 50.

I the asked her what age her Grampa was going to be.

Silence

Asked her again and ( I think just to stop me asking) she said OLD!!! ;-)

Don't you just love children ;-)

Have been out since 6pm.........so just enjoying a much needed coffee. :-D

4 litres of the 'stuff' for me Sylvs - but, we won't dwell on it !!! ;-)

preparing for a colonoscopy IS the worst part.


OH has to go onto a clear liquid diet for 3 days beforehand ............. chicken or beef consomme or broth, clear jelly, juices, coffee or tea without milk.

At the same time he has to drink 2 bottles of "stuff" .................. and spend much time in the loo


Oh, yes .............. and he has to be off red meats and certain veggies etc for 7 days before the colonocopy.


That's also what I had to do several years ago ............. but the "stuff" i had to take meant also drinking 2 litres of water with it.

I've heard other folk say that the preparation for one of those thingies is the worst bit - never mind Dea, it will soon be over <3


Hope it isn't chickenpox too Linds. Like Sylvs, I know it can be horrible for adults to suffer with it. :-(

I was very kind to my parents....I got it whilst I was on holiday. I also got gastro-enteritis whilst on holiday......I was a very thoughtful child.....lol!

Back from my meeting. I was following someone in a car and we got a bit lorst! We were driving around a modern estate - all cul-de-sacs etc...We landed where we thought we were supposed to be but no.........wrong place.

The person I was following phoned someone for the address, put it into his sat nave and off we went.....round the corner into the next cul-de-sac.........caused a few laughs anyway.... :-D :-D :-D


Just trying to catch up with things on here and over there!!

Have to go nite nites now so 'Good night all' !!! :-)
