Evening everyone....... :-D


Spent an absolute age this morning sorting out things for a Wedding Fayre we are holding in October. I like to get organised as soon as I can and then I can relax a bit. We are inviting local wedding orientated people - florists, printers etc., to join us which should, hopefully, help to build up the community spirit.


Picked up grandson this afternoon, cooked tea and then made a cake.......so....it's been all go.....again!!

selection of jams, jellies + marmite and peanut butter


Porridge is bubbling on the stove ......... and fixn's such as dates, brown sugar, Golden syrup are over there >>>>>>>>>>>>>>


selection of cold cereals


bacon, ham sausage patties, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans are ready to go int he pan as needed


Tea, coffee, juices are all ready for you.

Sylvia now that is what you call a snowfall we have only had a light dusting.

Been busy clearing our bedroom today and tomorrow doing OH's wardrobe :-(

One of the most well-travelled mountain passes between the coast and the interior of BC, about 250 km from here. got over 80 cm of snow over Saturday and Sunday. Another 20 cm due today.


It was one of the very few times when the snow ploughs couldn't keep up with the amount falling!



It affected a lot of travellers ..................... Saturday was the first day of the 2 week Winter Break, so lots of families are going away for holidays! Many of them go to ski slopes in the Interior, and use that route!
