Yes Ginns - In 6 weeks it should be finished, provided they do not have to delay anything because of 'side effects' etc. :-(

Good morning all and thank you for breakfast Sylvs......it was just what we needed in these conditions. In fact, glancing out of the window I don't know whether it's snow I can see or bubbles caused by OH having his shower..... :-D

Grandchildren are still at school, so I will be picking them up later I think. Could be a full house for tea because daughter will be here as well.......... :-S


Meanwhile, I will go for a browse before starting the day.........

Thank you for breakfast Sylvs, I might plough my way through all the meatless stuff if the snow doesnt stop falling

Like an idiot, I left the car at the bottom of the drive last night, facing uphill :-0

I will attempt to get to college but if I have trouble getting off our road.........forget it :-|

I have physio tomorrow, so will not be around very much


The daughter and her family arrive very late on Wednesday evening ..... the plane lands at about 10:30 pm. That will be the equivalent of 2:30 am their time :-(


They're taking our car and catching the noon ferry on Thursday to go to the Island to see our friends.


Return to us on Sunday evening

Then they catch the 11:30 pm plane on Monday evening back home.


so we will not see that much of them ........... but they are coming to visit with her godfather, who is so sick


We won't have our car ............... so I'll probably be around quite a bit over the weekend.

Porridge ............... keeping warm on the hob. Brown sugar, Golden syrup, dates, and cream (if wanted) are on the side

2 eggs any style, 2 buttermilk pancakes, 2 slices bacon, 1 slice of ham, toast

Poached eggs on toast, with side orders of bacon, sausage patties, baked beans, grilled tomatoes if desired

broccoli and mushroom or ham and cheese omelette

In the warmers ................

bacon, ham, turkey sausage, scrambled eggs, grilled mushrooms, baked tomatoes, baked beans, home-fried potatoes with garlic and bacon


Toast (selection of freshly baked breads)
Croissants
Barm cakes
hot cinnamon rolls


selection of home-made jams and jellies, marmite, vegemite


Tea, Coffee, Juices
