So, another Good Friday is with us.........

The thing is Sylvs, when we start to get better and dont feel any pain, we tend to forget that the poor little foot is still healing.....

but I started with the ice, elevation, etc as soon as I realised


so hopefully it will not take as long as before to get better.

Dea someone needs to organise them what a waste of your day.

Dea, I think the NHS is so tied up in red tape that it will end up strangling itself. It probably took 40 people to sign that you could have your tablets, 10 people to find them and 3 to pack them!!! :-D


Sylvs, how on earth will you cope being tied to your computer all day......? ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-)


Gins, is your sister an RC? If so, would you be able to take her to church over Easter? Just a thought. Please send her my bestest wishes..... :-)

Sorry about the breakfast ..............


Daughter and family arrived last night about 10 pm ...... plane was just over 30 minutes early.

Tiddly had slept for about an hour after the plane left Montreal, but was then awake for the remaining 4+ hours!

So they were all shattered.


They left here almost 90 minutes ago to drive down to the ferry terminal, and over to the Island to see our friends (J's godfather).

We are now without any transport until Monday .......... so we will be sticking pretty close to home.

I will Sylvia - It's just so frustrating as I was there yesterday AND the day before - If these people would get their act together I could have picked them up yesterday while I was there !!

BUT, hey ho!! - I cannot re-organise the National Health System single handed ! (Well, actually, I could, quite easily in terms or general organisation !)

Someone needs to do it though ;-) :-D :-D

Nice to see that your day is quite warm - I am sure we will get to that stage soon (I hope)

Sis is doing OK, she hasnt had any side effects (as yet....fingers crossed) from the chemo. She is at home today but will be going back tonight

The usual 'badly joined up' waste of a day :-(

I arrived, supposedly to see the Consultant but was told that he didn't need to see me (meaning that he had a double clinic because he had Friday's patients to see as well as Thursdays as Friday is a Bank Holiday so he didn't really have enough time :-( )

Anyway, that was O.K. - I aparently just needed to collect my tablets and then I could go home :-)

Nearly 2 hours later I was still waiting so started to chase things up - another half hour or so and the Pharmacist arrived with them - 15 minutes of instructions and then I could leave.

VERY tiring and frustrating.

Anyway - home now and I start them and everything else on Tuesday :-D

How is sis doing with hers?
