Porridge is bubbling on the hob

Selection of cold cereals on the counter


2 eggs any style, choice of bacon, ham or breakfast sausage, chef’s own hash browns, toast or fresh baked muffin

poached eggs and toast , muffins, or crumpets

Scrambled eggs, bacon, baked beans, and toast

mushroom and cheese or Ham and cheese omelette

In the warmers ..................

bacon, ham, turkey sausage, boiled eggs, grilled mushrooms, baked tomatoes, baked beans, fried bread


Toast (selection of freshly baked home made breads)
Croissants
barm cakes
hot cinnamon buns


selection of home made jams, jellies and marmalade, marmite



Tea, coffee, juices

just remember one thing ............ keep your finger off the Submit button after hitting it once.

Once and once only

Then hit the Back button

either click on another page OR refresh the page

and lo and behold .............................

that meal sounds yummy

we're having sockeye salmon steak, poached in the oven, with potatoes, peas ....... and whatever other veggies OH can find in the fridge :-D

Just cooked hubby a very nice Chinese Chicken 'thingy' - Don't ask me what it was because I couldn't find the things I wanted so just threw lots of ginger and garlic and rice wine and soy and the spices I could find together with carrots and spring onions and chicken etc and it worked out quite nicely :-D

Poor thing, it is the first 'proper meal' he has tasted in days and he REALLY enjoyed it !!

P.S. - I have 'discovered' Fox's Praline Amber biscuits !!!!! - DO buy her some of them and take them in next time you visit - she will LOVE them ;-)

There are several different types of Ambers but the Praline ones are the VERY best !!!

Just got back from taking sis out for a long lunch. She had steak, chips,onion rings, peas, followed by a huge apple crumble! Boy she packed it away, me and Vic couldnt finish our main

Lucky, the pub is at the end of the lane where the hospice is located
