Why no 'Friday Club' for JB??

No Dea, I finished this afternoon :-D :-D :-D :-D

I then had an hour with the bank....forgot my security question, would not go ahead with the call (I understand that)

Rang again with what I knew to be my password....nope

Asked them to get in touch with my business manager, they said they would email him (He's no longer allowed to come out and see his customers and we are not allowed direct contact)

Five minutes later, he phoned me (We know each other well and get on like you know what) and sorted it all out in ten minutes....I do miss him

No Friday club for JB tonight, he's taking me out for a couple of glasses of wine and some sort of meal.....bless

Just got back and this was just about to fall off the bottom of the page so I thought I would give it a little help up :-D :-D

3am this morning......woke up, made a cuppa and started marking :-0 Lots more to do, hey ho

Never mind, on goes the kettle, the oven and the hob.

Let's get cooking!!! :-D


Continental style for those watching their figures - that counts most of out then...... ;-)


....but those freshly baked rolls and croissants look and smell wonderful....mmmm.

There is a good choice of cereal.

The bacon is sizzling away as are the sausages, eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes.

The toaster sending up wafts of that lovely 'toasty' smell.........

The porridge is bubbling merrily - with little bubbles bursting gently.

The kettle has now boiled.


Breakfast is served :-D :-D :-D

first time here today :-(


it's raining hard


just made a casserole (beef stew) for tonight's dinner, and put it in the oven.

Now waiting for OH to arrive home so we can go for coffee :-D

Busy day for me.......quick shop with OH.......funeral........took friend out........went on the other side ..... :-D

Am feeling a bit peckish but don't know what I want..................and, probably, anything I fancy I won't have in........typical. ;-)


Lunch out tomorrow and then on to a meeting with Andy Burnham re autism. He's a nice guy. Lovely eyelashes!!

No1 son's birthday, he's just left with his brother and co

It's bin day and both of our which were put out, had blown over........fortunately though, nothing had spilled out. I'm quite fussy about my bins and everything is neatly bagged inside, so maybe that helped.

It's the same here Ginns we have had VERY strong winds all day yesterday. They got even worse through last night and they don't seem to be easing at all. There will have been a lot of damage done to roofs and fences etc.
