LK,

Not feeling sorry for myself just yet but I might later on. :-D

Dea,

Admit it, you have been peeping at my master plan haven't you..

What do I intend to do in my fortnight of freedom? Exactly what you have described. Lounge around in very casual attire all day and throw out the rubbish and give the place a quick clean up the day before they all return. :-D

Not expecting my granddaughter to visit as she lives just a bit too far away and will have her hands full with her 20 month old daughter and our 2 dogs.

Now off to watch some cricket on TV.

Morning Jonesey.

My do we feel sorry for ourself today?

Well move over cos I have come to pay you a visit, :-D :-D :-D

I'd have bought you some choccies but I got hungry on the way.

They were quite tasty.

I am still rebuilding my tree after the glitch on my family treemaker.

Just got to the bit about where Cyns and my tree connect.

You may or may not we did some research on Ginny's original thread.

James Parris murdered a little boy in Ryarsh and gave himself up after a cup of tea with his his brother on law (Cyn's rellie). It was very sad and James was hung for his crime.

Take care.

;-) <3

AAwwhhh - 'poor Jonesey' !!! Such a shame you were not able to go with them :-(

Don't worry, we will keep you company and I am sure that your Grand-daughter will be in to bring you 'special treats' <3

Just think though - 2 whole weeks to do exactly what you want - you can lounge around in your jimmy jams all day if you want to and know one will tell you off ;-) :-D

A bit of a tidy and a quick dust around the day before they get home and no-one will be any the wiser :-D

What are you going to do with yourself now you have the freedom?

Jonesey Report 31 May 2013 10:32

Here I sit in splendid isolation, all on my own, my family have all deserted me.

Mrs J, our daughter and our 2 sons have all gone to pay a visit to Uncle Sam. They jetted off this morning for a 2 week holiday (Sorry vacation) in Florida. Cyn, they would have flown over your house just before 9:00am. I instructed them to give you the Regal Wave as they passed overhead, I hope that they did so.

Even the family dogs have left home. They will be spending the next fortnight at my No 1 Granddaughter's house as she is fit and able enough to take them for their twice daily constitutionals. Sadly the same cannot be said about myself these days.

So here I am, just me, T'internet (Which keeps playing up), the telly (More repeats) and a cupboard full of goodies such as microwave ready meals, cakes, biscuits ect.

Will I manage to survive my 15 days in solitary? Watch this space to find out.

Good morning all :-)

Sorry I am late but I got caught up on re-reading Alex's thread - she had pm'd me to take a look.

It was one I had been helping on and had come up with one of my 'little theories' which seems to have been proved to be correct. - Such an interesting thread that I got carried away ;-) :-D

Anyway - I am here now and breakfast is delicious - thank you Sylvs. <3

Glad to see you are back Renes - hope you had a lovely time <3

Linds - all will be wonderful tomorrow !! - OH is very lucky to have you ! You will be exhausted though after it is all over and will probably sleep for a week :-D

See you all later,

Linda ....... that was one busy day!!!

Toots ............... I now rarely wear trousers in summer, I'm just not very comfortable in them. I'm trying to stop wearing them in winter as well .......... only it gets very cold around the nether regions then!

I wear long skirts and casual to dressy tops ............. the skirts range from denim (blue and black) to crinkle to "travel" material ............ with one dressy black. None of them is shorter than the bottom of my calf.

I'm usually scratching around to try to find really "dressy" :-D

Ok it's very late and I am so tired. Got GD at 1pm went to 2 garden centres had lunch, picked up my sis went to Costco got birthday cake and everything else.

GD's pullup pants overloaded. OH had taken the "one I prepared earlier" out of the car - I keep a bag with 1 of everything for just such emergencies - when he was taking all the rubbish to the rubbish centre.

So we go to Tesco and I spen £15 buying more pullups and change of clothes.

Then we take sis home and have to feed GD at sis's house. we get her home at 7.30 baby is looking better so far so good. we get home and finally eat at 8.20pm.

I also did a washing tonight and before we went out I did the touch up painting.

Am off to bed I am falling asleep as I type this.

I have to decide between now and tomorrow night what to pack for 6 days ...... and the weather reports are being no help at all!

Fortunately, the lot who will be at this meeting are not the dressy up types .........

...... they're more likely to be found bottoms up in a clump of wildflowers or a marsh :-D :-D :-D

BUT ................ is that winter, spring or summer wear :-S :-S
