So pleased to hear J was in good spirits Gins <3 <3

Yes St Joseph's at Peasley Cross. My Dad and siblings were baptised there and I was going to try and get copies of their entries. With St Joe's no longer in existance I thought I ask the Archdiocese where I can view them, may be take a pic for future generation etc... :-D :-D

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 1 Jun 2013 20:18

Ooooh.....doesn't that tea look wonderful..........? Wow......I think I will try the cucumber sandwiches, followed by the buttermilk scones and a very, very hot coffee please. :-D

My opinion on said book above --? Had a look through it as it was so highly recommended by so many people, including my niece, that I thought I would give it skim through. Boring, repetitious and badly written and not my scene. Can't even remember it now... :-S

Toots? Do you mean St. Joseph's at Peasley Cross? I used to go past there regularly many moons ago :-D I think it will come under the Archdiocese of Liverpool as it is an RC church.

It's good to know that your sister is retaining her good spirits Gins <3

Afternoon tea on the trolley next to the aspidistra

The coffee is in the coffee urn and the tea is in the tea urn, both have labels on them.

Mr Jones

The only person I know to have read "Fifty Shades of Grey" is Cynthia.. it had hardly been released and she had read it.

Now I am wondering what she means when she says

and I quote at 8.47am

" We're looking after you whilst your wife is away.......now be a good boy please. ;-) "

Morning All

Wow Persie that's a lovely spread. I've a little time this morning so I'll have

mmmm smells delicious. I'll have the house made raisin toast, butter & cinnamon sugar and a coffee.

Cyns Do you know if St Joseph's come under Liverpool Diocese? With it being closed I'm wondering where the parish records may be housed. They are not in St Helens Library or Lancashire Research Centre (according to their website) So thinking of contacting the Diocese to see if they can help.
