Made it!!

You often hear retired folk say that they don't know how they had time to work Gins... :-D :-D Just you wait!!!! Not long now! ;-)

Spent 3 hours at the hospital this morning with OH. Physio which was fine and dermatologist which was fine too. All in all, it was fine.... :-D

Came home, made a sandwich and then took shopping to friend. Stripped and remade her bed and brought the washing home........as one does..... :-S

OH's unknown cousin has finally replied to me and is interested in the family - so - I am now going off to send him some info........

I love storms too Ginns but not when you have to go out and get soaked in them ;-)

The most spectacular ones I have ever seen used to occur regularly when I was working in Spain when we were driving the passengers back into Madrid in the evening down from a restaurant we took them to up in the mountains. As we got down towards Madrid you could see the whole of the city lying below you and the lightning was spectacular !! - It used to be reported in the newspapers the following morning as to how many strikes per second had come down to earth.

Happy times..................

Glad it was good news LK - Hope the MRI is the same <3

I am doing find thanks - I am having treatment now at Clatterbridge Hospital. - My 'Professor' I believe is one of only 6 people in the World offering this particular type of treatment - one more session next week then, hopefully, I will have finished (apart of course from lots of follow-ups and tests for at least the next 7 years... ;-) :-( )

Anyway all is looking hopeful at the moment <3

Good morning and thank you for breakfast Sylvs. Not sure what to have as there is so much to choose from. :-)

Gins doesn't need a big breakfast like you do Dea........ ;-)

Off to the hospital with OH later - 2 appointments :-(

Hopefully I will be home in time to nip over to my friend (10 miles) and drop her shopping in.

Looks like I will have to get a bulb for my fridge - it's all the getting down and scrabbling inside which gets me..........................in the knee area!!

Back later...

we can buy bulbs for fridges and cookers in our local supermarkets

Linda

Linda Report 12 Jun 2013 22:36

Cynthia

We changed the light bulb on one of our old fridges years ago if I recall correctly instructions were in the little booklet that came with appliance.

Dea

Dea Report 12 Jun 2013 21:43

Can you not take off the fascia Cynths and replace the bulb ??

I did that on my microwave - It said I had to have it done by a qualified engineer but as long as you turn off the electricity you should be quite safe and save at least £50 + parts !

The good news is ...................

we have enough to live on for the next 15 years, at our current rate of expenditure.

The bad news is ..................

after that, daughter would have to support us in the manner to which we have become accustomed :-D
