Well the pringles have all gone and I am off to bed...

Goodness gracious, who is loquacious?

Off to a baptism tomorrow - about an hours drive away... and on the way back we have to go to Bunnings (Gracie will know what that is).... he never lets a chance go by...

I don't leave crumbs! I hoover them up.

Loquacious? Goodness me Jonesey - that's a big word for so early in the morning ;-)

Seems like I am looking my granddaughter this afternoon and overnight.....goooooody. We enjoy each other's company.

Gee

Gee Report 13 Aug 2011 09:31

Looks like I'll have to do my own then :-P

Dea Report 13 Aug 2011 09:22

I left LOTS Ginns - including ALL the bagels (I don't like them !!) AND the Salmon 'coz I don't do 'fishy' things !

I think I 'may' have eaten most of the peameal bacon and the Turkey sausages...........Oh!, and 'possibly' the cheesey potato patties and the bacon quiche tarts but there was plenty still there when I left.

Must have been Cynthia - she came in after me ;-)

And it proves it if there were lots of crumbs! - 'She' leaves lots of crumbs - I don't because that would be a waste so I always lick all mine up :-D

I too am guessing that Sylvia is missing someone to chat to on GR in the wee small hours (UK time), one loquacious person in particular.

Gee

Gee Report 13 Aug 2011 09:04

Of course the boards were quiet....I was in bed!

Dea have you left anything for breakfast except crumbs....

Cynthia

Cynthia Report 13 Aug 2011 08:19

It IS nice isn't it Dea.........and we've got it all to ourselves! Thanks Sylvs - sleep well. What a lovely gesture from the Restaurant.......they must like you as much as we do!

Hi Grace.....Pringles coming over!

Autism - huh! Tell me about the attitude of some 'professionals'- some of them ought to be ashamed of themselves. It's interesting though because this seems to be a global problem.

I have spent a lot of my time campaigning to raise awareness of the condition at a local level....then I moved national. On FB, I am a member of a couple of autism groups and it's interesting how the same thing crops up with members from around the world.....lack of awareness .....attitude of professionals.....frustration of parents.

Give your friend a hug from me and tell her she is not alone - there are a lot of anxious mums out there!

I thought the boards had picked up a bit but I guess Sylvs misses someone to chat to whilst we are asleep.........c'mon ja...x and R.. where're you hiding??? Our Sylvs needs some company.

So glad you had a nice evening Sylvia.

SiL's father kept fish and his Mum decided she did not want to keep them but it was one of the things that grandaughter did with him.

Daughter noticed the Nursery were installing a tank so now grandad's fish have a new home and she can still see them as well as other children getting pleasure from them. :-D :-D

Hope you have a nice sleep Sylvs. - Nite nite <3 <3 <3

How lovely of the man at the Restaurant to offer to do that ! - You make sure that you take him up on his offer, it will be a lovely little treat for you to look forward to when the time is right.

I am going to get stuck into that lovely brunch now - SO much to choose from and it's all SO delicious I fear I will be munching away all morning.

Oh well, what a lovely way to spend my day. :-D

See you later,

Hi all
xxx

We had a superb meal out at our favourite restaurant, and managed to enjoy ourselves.

At the end, after we had paid, I told the owner (who we know reasonably well) how bad the week had been, but how enjoyable the evening had been

He hugged me, and made OH promise to contact him and they will GIVE us a complimentary basket of food if and when I need cheering up!

How nice is that???

Morning all,

Sylvia, am so sorry to hear of your news, however it is great you have a surgeon that you have confidence in, it makes all the difference.

Some of them I think, forget they are dealing with humans...one of my friends has had a child recently diagnosed with autism. The specialist was awful, gave them no ideas where to go, didn't try to console the mother who was in tears etc etc..just horrible stuff.

Yum I like Pringles Cynthia and that is my favourite flavour!

Hope you are all having a nice weekend. Off to a dinner tonight and then hopefully having a quiet day tomorrow.

Take care all, hope that the rioting has eased off or finished ...
