Good morning all - anyone for breakfast?

The usual cereals are all set out....................

Toast, croissants, Danish Pastries.
Gluten-free rolls and crackers.
Assorted spreads and jams (+ marmite)

Platters of hams and cheeses

Crispy bacon, sausages, grilled mushrooms and tomatoes.
Eggs - cooked to order.

Apple and cinnamon muffins, Almond tart.

You can not beat a good old 1960s version with no electronics and still in perfect working order.
Bakes , Roasts,Grills,Boils and Fries to perfection...

Never a moments bother.

Get out the long gas lighter thing that you refill........ one click and hey presto...Lights every time...

And bought for £20 looking like new back in 2001....

Oven is 4/5 years old Gins........ I was hoping for it to last longer than that!

If Tracey is there - Could you do me a look up please on ER - It is of a 'personal nature' with regard to my brother's death ??

Yesterday, I sent a message to a brand new poster who had received several responses on her thread.

No response back either to me or on the thread.

Today, I sent another message asking if she had seen her responses.

This evening I open a message from her......and it says.....



YES.




Well, now, she has just received a little note from me asking Yes What? and wouldn't it be polite to let those who have helped her know that she has seen their responses......tuts. Where have good manners gone at all??


Am just going to phone erstwhile gas man.......

Lucky it was a LOUD squeaky voice and I knew who it was as MAN thought it was someone mucking around....

Little Hurricane finds HIDS name too hard to say so has decided on Man.. :-D

Got lots of kisses blown down phone to me with a demand for some back before he had to go to bed....

The b*g****s of his parents are using me and my big outside space as bait to keep him well behaved or he dont come here on Sat.....BAD mummy and Daddy...,.

Tonight I cooked tea with a small gardening cane blu-tacked twixt oven and washing machine trying to keep the oven alight. It worked

Ive read that four times and have no idea what the hell you are talking about Cyn :-S
