Renes, have you advertised it over here in the UK?

Jonesey
My house is the last one before the circle --- the original thressing circle
the village is straight down my Calle and straight up Calle La cruz with runs right thru village
As far as I am aware we only have photos of the ""Bus Stop"" are you sure you are in Guajar Fondon -- not Fondon ---
EDIT Jonesey --- You are in Fondon Almeria ---plaza Poeta Martin del Rey --- I am in Granada region
Yes a car is needed --although we do have excellent bus service to coast daily

this is a link to FB and google earth photo
The house is only with local agent at moment -- but will add to others later on --- yes very diff how they sell here ---- think it would mention that my council + water+ sewerage rates are 78 euros a year !!!
Thanks Jonesey

Renes,
Yes, I took another look at your selling agents website and as you said your house was in the "Town Houses" section.
Knowing from the pictures that your house was in a rural area I expected to see it listed in the "Country Houses" section. House/location descriptions are obviously somewhat different in Spain. Have you considered advertising it anywhere yourself or is that not done in Spain?
I also took a look at Fondon on Google Earth but as there is only a very limited "Street View" in the centre of the village I could not see exactly where your house was in relation to the village centre, Plaza Poeta Martin Del Rey. It looks a very quiet sort of place and I imagine that ownership of a car is pretty vital.

I remember once seeing someone absent mindedly wipe their nose on a tea towel and I was lost for words.
Yes, I will repeat that.
I was lost for words....... :-D

Awhh, she didn't deserve that Ginns,
She was a very nice friendly person but it was obvious from her speech and her facial features that she was in some way 'educationally subnomal' - I hope that doesn't sound cruel or critical but I am sure you will know what I mean.
I am quite sure that she was doing her best to follow the instructions she had been given but did not understand that she was not doing it in the correct way.
I felt awful reproting it but she should never have been put into that position.
I still wonder whether she lost her job over it - I really hope not !
I am sure there would have been some other role they could have moved her to and sincerely hope that is what happened.

That is disgusting Dea....wish the chilli had been really hot and she burned her tongue, she wouldnt do it again
I once went into the kitchen at work and someone was wiping underneath their pits with the tea towel :-(
Im very particular in shops with food. If I have a sarni I ask them to make it on a green board where no meat has been...Ive even been known to ask them to wash their hands if Ive seen them pick up meat and then they go to make mine
|
|
Oh that's disgusting Dea.........yuk. I think you were right to mention it to the Manager - if it happened these days and someone was ill - it could put the business at risk couldn't it..
Hi LK......that's really frustrating. Do you have a penalty clause for those who don't turn up for a certain number of appointments?
Which Wests are you chasing...........? I've got Wests aplenty in my tree.. :-D
|
|
I am here whilst eating my lunch.
Full book of patients and so far 5 have not showen up. I have people desparate for an early appointment who could have used those slots. I have been working on my tree the past few days. Finding Wests when Dad moved around a lot as he was in the army is a nightmare.

You will NOT believe this Cynthia but I assure you that it is true !!!
It was probably about 15 years ago now but I will never forget it as it was SO incredible.
There was a B & Q 'type' store quite close to the office where I worked - In there was a small cafe bar where you could get snacks and baked potatoes with various fillings, with salad, to take away. They were VERY nice !
I often popped in for a takeaway lunch and one day asked for my baked potato, I think with a chilli topping - the girl prepared it, put on the topping and popped it in the microwave.
When it came out, she actually put her tongue onto the top to see if it was hot enough. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I said to her - Did I really just see you do that ????
She very innocently replied that you have to make sure that it is hot right through to the centre and that is the way she always tested her children's food al home !!!!!!!!!
I couldn't believe it and insisted she did another one. BUT, on the way out, even though I felt awful doing it, I just HAD to report the incident to the Manager! - I did not want to get her into trouble, she was obviously not 'overly bright', and doing her best, but you just cannot have that sort of thing happening - she should not have been doing that job.

Huh. I see they've named a hurricane after you Renes!
Persie is missing as well.....mind you, weekends are funny things....
Went to a local bakery this morning and, after asking for a particular cake, I noticed that the assistant picked it up with her fingers. I immediately asked if she could use tongs.
I had a similar incident a couple of years ago in there.......I'd asked for a cake ....the assistant wiped her nose on her hand and picked my cake up with that hand. Caught on the hop, I left the shop with the cake but took it back quickly and said why. Since then, every time I have been in - which isn't that often, there is a whispered conversation and the tongs are used.
Must have been a new girl today!!!
It's the same with those who wear gloves to handle food and don't take the glove off to handle money........
Fussy but........
