Hi Wee Rob,

Was it not young Bill who said that a rose by any other name would smell as sweet?

I wish that you would drop in more regularly as I have terrible trouble trying to keep this lot under control.

We used that word a lot when I was "wee" (another Ulster expression) and I like the sound of the word ..... thought I should change name as old name could easily identify my family.

Hmmm.

Upon googling, one discovers that a Glunterpake is a 'stupid person'. I was also asked if I meant to put 'Glitter puke'. Not sure which I prefer really :-S

Are you having a mid-life crisis R????

It is still I .....just changed my name .... using a good Ulster Scots word

Good morning fair friends.

Thank you for the lovely breakfast again Sylvs......erm......am dithering around because there is so much to choose from and I don't know where to start... :-S

Gins? Those big hairy feet......I had exactly the same thought as you.....Fans!

Looked at that link on Success board but did I miss where GR came into things???

Syvls.......there are just two quiz programmes which are watched in this house.....don't know if you get them over there. One is called Pointless and the other is called Only Connect.......we occasionally glance at University Challenge....but, what I am trying to say is......if we answer a couple of questions on each quiz then we think we are doing well. It's amazing how, once the questions have been answered you realise that you DID know more of the answers after all.....thinking of them on the spot is a different matter altogether. :-D

I have been out today at a meeting in Stratford East London to see what impact the Olympics will have on the worlings of our business.

I had to go alone and the underground was very hot.and there were line closures. The jubilee was closed due to a passenger under a train. I hated it but I made it.

See you had some fun with Dea as a Hobbit. Hobbits also have large hairy feet.

He asked me, and my mind immediately went blank. I couldn't think of ONE word!

Wife finds her husband up alone at night.
As she watches him wipe a tear from his eye she says "What's the matter?"
He says"Do you remember 20 years ago when we were dating, and you were only 17?"
The wife touched at his caring says "Yes, I do.
"You remember when your father caught us in the back seat of my car and shoved a shotgun in my face and said,
"Either you marry my daughter, or I will send you to jail for 20 years"
"I remember" she replies softly,
He cries "I would have gotten out today !!!!!!!
