Hmmm just making an observation into cyber space...

Why do people ask a question and then never return to their thread or messgaes? You'd think if you asked something and couldn't hang around for an answer, that you might come back and have a look over the next few days!!!

I loved the Art Deco in Napier .... especially as it was all "original", not fake!

I do like that kind of art and architecture though!

I like Napier, Hastings and Havelock North and all their Art Deco buildings... my friend from New Mexico cannot stand Art Deco.

I was impressed with Canada's drop kicks against France and then France had a drop kick as well. Canada was very credible against France and this World Cup has certainly had a few surprises.

Aussie is very quiet at the moment... they have been taunting the NZders... all good fun, but after losing to the Irish there has been no more taking the Mick. (since Mick won)

She is a little sweetie that little girl of yours Gracie... but nuffies can have a rest.

Glad you had a good visit to Wellington.

We found they were a friendly lot when we visited there alomost 20 years ago ...... although we did only spend a few short hours there.


I hear on our radio this morning that Napier has adopted the Canadian Rugby team ...... with a vengeance!


Thta's another lovely town, with all its Art Deco buildings.


I can do breakfast for tomorrow (or this, Monday) morning ............. but not sure when I will be back to do breakfasts after that.

Had a good time in Wellington, great trip down with Rugby supporter from various nations.... we were just traveling to see grandson ... and he was on his best behaviour for us. We went to his swimming lesson on Friday, these little six - nine month olds in their bathing suits looked really cute. We baby sat on Thurs night, so his parents could have their first night out... they were home by 9pm and we were in his bedroom because he had woken. I was chatting to him and giving him his bottle etc.... apparently one does not interact during the night... it is just a quick bit of bottle, check diaper and back to sleep no conversing... oh dear... it looked a bit like an entertainment centre.... phooey. I think he had had a busy day as it had been coffee morning with mums and seven babies in a little house earlier on ... case of let's stack the babies.

Wellington people are either very hospitable or it is because the World Cup is on... on three occasions women offered help when they saw us with the map out... and another time I decided we would take a bus around the harbour and we were discussing all these buoys... and the woman in front of us turned around and explained that there was a man made reef below to keep the boats out and the sand in. We had wonderful weather though there was one very heavy hailstorm but it was short lived and the sun came back out.... whereas in Auckland they had wet weather all week. Ha ha ;-)

Cheers and aside I have to ask is Gins Home Alone? :-S
