If anyone feels able to help here OH and daughter are doing a 15 mile walk for charity on Friday through London at night. It is called the Carrots night walk and they are raising money for the charity 'Fight for Sight' who research eye conditions to help prevent blindness. This is a very worthy cause and they have been training loads for it. You can sponsor them at their Just Giving page |

As NHS contractors working with the elderly we have been told we get priority for the flu jab but I have heard so many horror stories I have not had it. My oldest had one several years ago and ended up in Guys hospital on steroids. |
