Jax yes that was the post I meant and bit my tongue rather than ask for an explanation. There are just to many issues with the site.

To be honest I only nip in and out now for the chat on Fred and with the exception of a few, whom I will miss, I can do over on t'other side. I feel like a rat leaving a sinking ship :-(

C'mon gt.granddad.....time to stop putting it off. Lexi won't bite you ....... yet! She needs to meet this famous person (well on GR anyway) as soon as possible - so that she can used to you!

I have yet to hold the latest addition to my family tree but Mrs J was there like a shot within hours of her birth. I felt that it would be better to hang back a bit ,after all the poor mite had probably had enough trauma for one day. I am as you might imagine chuffed to bits to be a great grandfather, in my wildest dreams that is something I never expected to be.

My daughter, Nanna Anna, as she is now to be known, called in here this afternoon to see if I would like to go and visit but to be truthful I had only just got back home and I was hot and sweaty so I declined. I have a really cute photograph of the nipper taken when she was just 40 minutes old and I will post this as my GR image for the next few hours so you can see what Lexi looks like. In all probability I will go and see her sometime tomorrow.

It's great to see you are on the mend Sylvia

After careful consideration I have decided not to renew my membership on this site. I no longer find it value for money and although my subs are low with the traffic on the boards slowed to snail pace can't see the point. Also today I saw that GR posted on their Facebook page encouraging lookups to be done there( this really grates with me because members have to have a standard subscription to post on here). So if they are doing lookups over there then no need to pay subs to help. Also, real life is extremely busy. So this is my last week.

Builders have finally finished so it's massive clean up campaign now, so any tips Cyns would be appreciated.

I suppose it all depends what you are 'classic' of :-P
