Can you cote for my nieces Charity please --- I have just voted and they only have 68 votes

http://communityforce.natwest.com/project/1166
my niece writes :
If you have a minute, please could you vote for a charity I volunteer at to win £6000 worth of much needed funding?
The voting process is quick but a bit glitchy, you have to register first, then confirm your registration by clicking on an email they send you, then you can vote. I would be SO grateful though. Cheers!

I don't think it was a tarantula Cynths - It's body was not that hairy !!

It was just an ordinary one I think but VERY big !!!

I am afraid I didn't think to get a photo - I was deep in conversation and when I saw it I was just VERY glad that hubby 'got rid' "!!!

If I see another one I will make sure I get a photo :-D :-D :-D

Dea Xxx

P.S. - I am REALLY not exagerating on the size !

It was bigger than a saucer and just about the size of a 'small plate'!

Wowww !!

I was just having a serious conversation with my son and my husband tapped me on the shoulder and said - "look at that" !!

I looked and there was a spider on the wall in the dining room - I swear it was the size of a 'side plate' - about 5" across !!

BRAVE husband got several sheets of kitchen towel and GOT IT !!!

Thank goodness for that - I will wash the wall again properly in the morning!

I know you have such large creatures in Australia and places but I don't think I have ever seen one quite that big over here in the UK !!!

Yuuuukkk !!!!!!!!!

it's about 14C here

but I put most of my summer clothes away the weekend before I had the op, on the basis of the cooling weather

the end of that week after my op was 25 or above!

it's been slowly declining since Monday!

Gins

In this case, I think it might be said that it was a good job that you still smoked!

Bet that waiter won't have a job for long, though

52 staples later, the nurse says .................

"I have never before removed so many staples"

she even wondered if the staple gun had "gone wrong" as there were so many very close together in one area :-0

Trust me! :-D :-D :-D

Drain still in :-( :-( :-(

Gin,

I thought that they only spelled Bowl as B_O_W_E_L in Tipton in the Black Country, I never realised that they did the same in Sheffield. ;-)

Dea,

I bet that chap only asked for a cold drink on his future travels.

Dea

Yeh Cynths - the past couple of days have been SO hot but at least it cools in the evening so you can get some sleep !!

Thank goodness!

Dea Report 1 Oct 2011 19:13

OOOhh - thank goodness he DID go with you Ginns !!

SO - smoking really is GOOD for your health ??? (Or in this case, No 2 son't health !!! ) :-D

That reminds me of probably our first holiday abroad - on the flight, a stewardess spilled a pot of scalding tea all over the 'lap' of a gentleman sitting near us - they had to remove him to a back seat for treatment and an ambulance met him at the airport on arrival !!! - OOO errr !!!! - nasty ! :-0

I have to say though, when I have travelled ever since, any cup of tea I have ever had has been 'warm' at best !! - I bet that poor gentleman wished that had been so in his case!

Did you enjoy the day over all, and are they paying HUGE amounts of compensation for his jacket and offering you more free tickets ??

Was it a nice meal ??

Tell all.....................

Golly he was fortunate Gins! That could have been really nasty.....but that poor woman...what a thing to happen.

Oh dear Sylvs........it means the tin bath in front of the fire for you again!

It's cooling down now thank goodness......I like it to be quite warm but don't like it so hot outside.

We're back......Had a fab day but the football was pants, we lost 2 - 0

I went out for a ciggie (No 2 son came with me) and when we got back the paramedics were at our table

A waiter had dropped a full bowel of steaming hot soup, right over where my son should have been sitting

The lady next to the empty seat had been badly splashed over her face and in the eye. She was taken to the medic room, treated and returned OK bless her

Sons jacket (back of the chair) was covered in soup but thank god he came with me as it would have been right over his head and down his back.....we would have spent the day in A&E

The company I was with sponsored the match, but the match ball sponsor (another company) gave the taking of the ball to the pitch to the soup splashed ladies little boy....what a kind thing to do

So we all know smoking is bad for you but in this case it saved my boy from serious burning
