we stick with the same insurance company/ies over here.

Car insurance ............... there is a provincial-run scheme that you HAVE to have, it covers basic insurance ........... and so far as we can see (although other provinces say otherwise), it provides the coverage at comparable rates. Then various companies offer extra coverage .................. all of them offer loyalty credits of one form or another. OH has renewd with the same one, BCAA (ie a connection with the AA) for about 43 years .............. and currently gets rate exemptions for clean driving, age, distance driven to work, and loyalty. I think it amouns to around 40% discount

House insurance is also with BCAA ......... very comparable rates, discount for having it with the same company, no claims (until the generator this year), fire hydrant across the street, smike alarms, alarm system, etc.

It really doesn't pay us to move around ............. although we do occasinally compare.

Mind you, we also don't these incredible high increase that you seem to get.

Yes Jax !!

Things have changes a lot recently!

I used to believe in 'Customer Loyalty' but nowadays there is no such thing.

You really HAVE to change from one Company to another every year on all your bills. - It is the only way!

Very often, like you, you return to the same Company a year later but only because they give you a far better deal.

It seems that all Company's nowadays have deals for new Customers and the 'regular ones' pay so you DO have to leave them for a year or so order to get the 'new customer' deal when you go back.

Rediculous really but that is how it is nowadays!!!

Gracie's big spiders can catch small birds arrrgghhh....

Some get married a lot younger than 20 Gracie...

When my cousin turned 60... they had also been married 40 years and we had a big party celebrating 100 years. They had five children and I would have to look up the tree to see how many grandies that she has.
She will be 75 tomorrow... I was born on her 11th birthday. Best present she could have :-)

Hi everyone,

Hope you had a nice weekend.

Very busy one here, and last night went out for dinner to celebrate my sister and my brother in law's 30 th wedding anniversary which was nice. LOl she is only 50 so seems still too young to have been married that long, I don't know where all the time has gone...but then she has a daughter who married last year and is having her forst baby in January, a son who is getting married in December and the final son about to finish his apprenticeship. All of them are happy, well adjusted and have good jobs so they have done a great job as parents!

Sorry to hear about your spider DEa, they are my biggest phobia. And YES we get disgusting big hairy Huntsman here ...awful make me shudder to think of them..and then in they bush they are much bigger. I think they must get some sort of growth steroid!
