I think of pikelets as being a bit like crumpets, but thinner.

ah

google, as we're always telling people

from Wikipedia:-

"Pikelet, an alternative name for a crumpet; Pikelet, a type of pancake found in Australia and New Zealand"

Pikelets and crumpets, fat round bread things with holes in to soak up all the butter....theyre the same thing, some call them one and some call them the other

Pancakes.....pour batter into frying pan and the result is a big flat pancake...smoother it it in golden syrup and roll it up......they have to be one of my fav foods and Im not keen on sweet things normally!

Oooo I could eat one now :-D

Sylvs, doesn't need to bovver wif brekkie... Dea will have a good feed of what you have there Gracie and there is always bacon in the hidey hole that she can cook up to go with it.
:-) :-) :-)

She is a very smiley cow, has a grin from ear to ear, probably been making her own pancakes.

ANZAC biscuits are a must ... I also make Anzac pudding... golden syrup in baking makes things so yummy... I put it in our pikelets (sort of like blinis) and in custard.

Thanks Gracie and her little ladybird. I saw a yellow and black patterned one the other day was sort of wavy stripes...guess it was its racing colours.

Persie :-)

Glad to see you back Grace

I bet your little girl looked lovely as a Ladybird :-)

Been messing with the ER today (only for free) and found so many things wrong with it.

Looked up my dad and it came up with just one entry 2002-11 ?? living with him was my mum and me?? yes I lived there for about 3 months in 2002

Then looked up the ex husband one entry 2002 -05 living with him was me?? I left him in 2001

Then tried my daughter found her 2009-10 living with two people whose names I did not recognise although she did have two flatmates...I asked her and she said yes they lived there before she did...so what a load of rubbish that is
