POOF, THE LIGHT GOES OFF !

A 72-year-old man goes for a physical. All of his tests come back normal so the doctor says, "Harry, everything looks great. How are you doing mentally and emotionally? Are you at peace with God?"

Harry replies, "God and I are tight. He knows I have poor eyesight, so he's fixed it when I get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, poof!, the light goes on. When I'm done, poof!, the light goes off."

"Wow, that's incredible," the doctor says.

A little later in the day, the doctor calls Harry's wife. "Mrs. White," he says, "Harry is doing fine but I had to call you because I'm in awe of his relationship with God. Is it true that he gets up during the night and poof! the light goes on in the bathroom, and when he's done, poof! the light goes off?"

"OH GOOD GRIEF!" Mrs. white exclaims,

"He's p***ing in the fridge again!"

I don't know about walking on water... I think I need a sand bar.. in fact any bar.. no on second thoughts betta don't do that I am already legless.. My trainer put me through my paces and raised the levels and made things more difficult etc.. Next week I have the other trainer thank goodness they do week about... she is nice and kind and he is tough.

Renes was around on FB, Monday on her wall.

Now for a lie down... gotta go and watch granddaughter dancing at school.. end of year performance tomorrow evening.

Fans is a good gran, Mr Hurricane is a very lucky chap...

Did I say that?

Sylvs I do hope your husband gets his ladder skills sorted before getting the egg off the window... we do not want him toppling over again and that sounds a rather high spot for him to be.

Thanks for being short order cook yesterday Dea <3, I didn't realise Sylvs wasn't going to be here or else I would have done a repeat of the other days since Gins slept through all my pot banging etc.

My brakes are okay Cyns, but it is not my "breaks" that will be watched tonight, I am off to move my joints class tonight.. I was pretty good last week and not to much suffering the next day. We have enrolled at a local pool and gym to go there when we finish this course... I think strolling up and down the pool might suit me.. and there is a light water aerobics class I may go to. I have what they call a green prescription from my doctor so costs to go there are minimal, same price as a cup of coffee and I can have another fitness assessment and go over what I have been doing. They also have a nice coffee shop there, I have seen their muffins.

we got egged last night :-P :-P :-P

We're a corner house, our kitchen window looks on to the side street ....... and someone ******* hit it with an egg some time last evening / night

I think I know when it happened .................. soon after midnight there was quite a loud thunk somewhere outside.

There'd been so many fire crackers going off that we just didn't bother looking out yet again.

The fire crackers finally stopped some time after 12:30 am. They had been almost non-stop from about 6 pm

it's the first time that we have been egged.

OH cleaned the window screen, but there is still some on the window ............ he'll get the ladder out this weekend. The window is at least 10' above ground level.

It is supposed to rain, heavily, tomorrow ...... so the window might get cleaned "naturally" :-D

well, I can always hope, can't I ????

Only just got on here

it was another "breast health" physio day ......... only I went all by myself, for the first time since before the op

It was such a pleasant day that I walked over to the other main road to catch the bus ............... a nice 15 minute walk. Then it was 2 buses to get to the physio place.

I arrived early, so had time to go for a soy latte.

After physio, I went across to the Japanese palce and had a late lunch. OH had his own physio appointment, and came to meet me just as I finished eating. We came back to our regular coffee shop for afternoon coffee.

He was signed off ............. is almost abck to normal.

I've got at least 2 more sessions with this physio before she signs me off.

Then we had some things to do when we got home
