Good night .. Sylvs..

I have just had a pork pie for my tea... but don't tell that Gins person.

Took Evan for a drink and chips at Maccas after school and I had a iced coffee so wasn't that hungry.

The plight of the poor vegetable,
Is not unlike some people when you think about it
Cabbage and cauli get in a right pickle
Spuds get mashed
Pumpkin gets creamed and then souped up
Corn get their ears bitten off
Tomatoes are treated with relish
or despite warnings they go out in the midday sun and get sundried
The spinach wilts
the peas and beans get drained
The peppers get roasted and burned

All things that can happen to us...

Lettuce pray for them.

You have to feel sorry for all those poor vegetables don't you? There they are, enjoying the fresh country air and flexing their fronds and leaves. Then............they are yanked from their cosy growing places by big heartless and cruel machines. Thrown into big lorries and sent to a factory to be selected for their good looks and maybe chopped up and frozen to death. Not nice, not nice at all. ;-)

Anyway, tis bedtime in this establishment- want to read another chapter of my book if poss. Night all ~~~~~~~~
