A lot warmer on a cold autumn day thats for sure TDHC,but of course one has to watch out for carpet burns then.... ;-)

I guess laying on a carpet beats hanging around a lampost

Retired Cyn???....I is just tired...Very,very tired now as I have finished laying carpet.

No rest for the wicked...

But you certainly wont be able to see much of me soon with the way I am losing weight...

Go to the Gym????...Who needs it,just get a 4 yr old Hyperactive grandson to move in..... ;-)

Simpler just to tell 'Man' to stay in bed longer and to stop playing with trucks at that unearthly hour!



The visit to the opticians turned into a marathon but at least I hope himself is now sorted. Time will tell.



Off to the hairdressers soon......never a dull moment when one is retired Gins :-P

I now go to lay a carpet (donated by a friend)on our wooden painted floorboards in the hall between his room and sitting room which passes our bedroom door to deaden the sound of running feet and toy trucks at 5 am.... :-D

Tell him that teachers have to have the weekend off to decide what wonderful fun things the children are going to have to do next week. Also emphasise that only children who are nice and well behaved for their grannies during the weekend are allowed to go to school next week.

I am SO glad that he is settling in well at school. I am sure he will have a lovely time with you and HD over the weekend :-D

Lovely Jubbley...Peace and quiet here today...He likes school and dont wanna leave when its time.
Who can blame him really coming home to me and HID....
Gonna catch up on some "work"that has been on hold for the last 10 days and work out how to explain to a 4 year old why there is NO school on Sat and Sun.... :-(

Ive forgot to phone and cancel the dentist and the appointment is at 11am.....so I have to go. It's only down the road, hope Richard wears a good mask today ;-)

We have just had venison patties and I cooked up carrots, peas, beans and broccoli and then stirred in garlic butter and sundried tomato feta.

So that's there if you want.

Toast (sourdough, rye, white, whole grain, 100% brown, Hovis), crumpets, barm cakes

jams, jellies

Tea, coffee, juices


(some bacon, tomatoes, sausages in the hidey place to cook up for the very hungry ones!)
