I'm good Sylvia, how are you feeling? Hopefully better every day!

Just having a BIG tidy up of the desk drawers and stuff, I can't believe the amount of rubbish you end up collecting over teh years, so have been merrily shredding away!

LK I would so love to go to that if only they would come to Australia!

LOL Persie, did they have tractors back then :-)

I firmly believe that a lot of these people are name collectors.

There's no need to know all about every Tom, Dick or Harry (sorry, R) to flesh out your tree, and know how they lived.

Thanks Cynthia,

I couldn't think what I had written that would upset someone, I try to be very careful what I write, (and not necessarily what is going through my mind at the time!)

So you were tangling with him too? Persie mentioned his thread but I can't find it...

Evening Grace.

No you weren't rude at all. I remember that you just included Island's name in the people you mentioned - that was all. You were actually standing in defence of them.

Hiya Sylvs.....I will be very careful with whom I tangle!! I just get cheesed off with people saying how big their trees are........and.....I think I had my naughty head on as I said. :-D :-D :-D

Going soon........have a good night all <3 <3

Morning everyone,

Hope that you all had or are having a lovely weekend! :-D :-D

Sun is shining and it is going to a lovely day...

Persie I tried to go back to the thread but it has gone. Was Island angry at me or something? I can't remember what I wrote in defence if Sylv but I don't think I was very rude, was I?? :-S

Hi Ginny,

I am in the UK. I am with the Denplan insurance scheme for which I pay £16 per month - for this I receive 4 dental hygenist visits and two check-ups per year + what ever other treatments I need i.e. fillings and other problems. My crown cost me about £130 for the dental laboratory costs - but the porcelain crown was included in my insurance. Looking at NHS costs now I think the scheme is pretty reasonable.

I was too busy answering the Ecky thump stuff earlier Lains

I’m not sure where you are in the world but in the UK we have NHS, free treatment for health.....if you've paid through the nose first with your NI contributions

I can have an NHS crown for a small fee of about £200/300....however, I don’t fancy looking like 'Jaws' from a Bond movie so have opted for a porcelain crown, which is more expensive than a gold one and NOT an option through the NHS!

I would rather have my smile blend in than 'shine'
