Wrapped in newspaper was the best!

We had a chat about babby's yed and pea wet a while ago didn't we Dea? ;-)

Poor Sylvs.........you certainly were deprived. The luxury of fish and chips occasionally.....mmmmmmmm. And yes, they taste much better out of doors with lashings of salt.

On that mouth watering note I will say goodnight all ~~~~~~~~~~

I never had a chippy tea ..................... or any chips & fish ............. at home.

The only time we'd have it would be when we went on holiday (usually to Scarborough), just once during the time we were there, and then we had to sit inside to eat it ........ even though it was wrapped in newspaper, Mum didn't like to sit outside.

The used to be a large shed-type building on the fish docks at Scarborough, where you could go to eat your own food, and buy mugs of tea from a stall inside.

deprived I was ;-)

Dea Report 18 Nov 2011 21:04

Must be too tired Cynths - can't work out the first 2 but I believe when they delivered the food from the chippy they must have forgotten the bread and butter so Fatima must have come back a little later wi' t'bread.

Enjoy anyway,

Had a Lancashire chippy tea last night with Linford Christie and Tessa Sanderson. At 6pm there was a knock on the door. It was Fatima Whitbread.

Hi all
xxx

we got 1 - 2 cm of snow in our area overnight. Some higher areas got much more.

Traffic kept the roads clear, and it didn't stick on the sidewalks

............... but the grassy areas and rooftops are still white now ..... and it's after 11:30 am.
