I see you have been looking in the same place that I have Mr Jones.. I knew both my children were born on Saturdays (my OH's work thought that we were most considerate as he did not need time off) but wasn't too sure about mine... Himself is a Monday...

We also planned our marriage date to ensure tax rebate... if I could have got the venue the week before I would have also got a supply of groceries re one of our old grocery chains birthdays.

Persie ;-)

Gosh don't some people natter. Just caught up on posts made between yesterday afternoon and this mornings breakfast menu.

Fascinating mixture of subject matter ranging from mooning grandchildren to Canadian weather forecasts with everything in between including a birth day poem. The poem is obviously 100% accurate since I was born on a Monday, see my avatar for confirmation.

As far as the reason for selecting your wedding date is concerned Mrs J and I married on 30th of March, we never were ones to pass up a tax rebate if one was available. As of 2:00pm today we will have been married for 15,943 days, but who is counting. ;-)

An useful site should you ever wish to calculate such things or to work out what day of the week something occurred on is:

One does see some funny things in trees, one person (yes related to me) asked me re one of my cousins ... I said well we were in the same class at high school but she was a year older than me. So this person enters the birth year as something in the late 1800s.. ...

And you can be quiet FbyG... I do not look that old...

I told you the anti-ageing cream worked Lainie...

I am a Saturday child.. as are my two daughters... we is all very hard workers...

Thanks Sylvia, I will do.

I suspect it won't go ahead, our nurses are still striking and as such you can't ring or anything to confirm if it is still going ahead.

I'll take a big book with me to pass the time :-D I wish I could take the lap top and do some tree stuff, but it might get nicked when I am out for the count so best not!

Hi Gracie

Hope all goes well tomorrow. Do let us know what happens as soon as you can <3 <3 <3

There are some very funny things happen on ancestry trees.

I had some one take my great aunt Hannah and husband John and add them to his tree ............................ as parents of children born 90 years before either of them were born (let alone married)

Both couples had the same names, both had been born in Lancashire and both had emigrated to the same town in the US ............... but almost 100 years apart.

He did remove my two from his tree when I pointed out the discrepancy!

Hi all hope you are well.

Hospital is tomorrow and Persie is right if I have a cold they won't take me, so I would go back to the bottom of the waiting list, hence why I was so annoyed with my boss for bringing it in to work!

Dosed up on cold & flu tablets, I think I have been that busy I haven't ahd time to rest, we have a family wedding in a week and a new baby due in early Jan so it has been full on with events for both, birthdays in between and OH has had a lot of dinners to go to for some reason.

Not to worry, will turn up tomorrow and see what they say.

I was checking some people on Ancestry and had to laugh. there is a tree on there that has an incorrect line. I have been in contact with the owner and passed on teh right stuff, but she won't change hers even though she has a chap born in 1847 and dying in 1847 (which he did, that is correct) BUT then he goes on to marry and have 16 children, emigrate and pass away for the second time in 1924. :-D

That is some life span....must be something good in the water over there ;-)
