As you can see he is not with his parents on the 1851 but with a possible sibling and grandparents.
I cannot see him in 1841.

I have found a baptism record indicating parents are Thomas and Susan Knight,

There are two Susans in 1841

but gives a sixteen year age gap between this Thomas and the Thomas who may be Thomas 1838's father in the 1851.

and there is this one

I have not found a marriage for Thomas and Susan
and if he was a widower in 1861 where is her death?

Er.............hello?

Anybody there?

Hello wall.

Here I am again........first one up today by the looks of things. That's because it's my daughter's birthday and i had to rush downstairs to get the banners up! Fortunately my granddaughter has stayed over and helped me out. Daughter seems happy enough so far. Long may it last!

Breakfast for me......burnt toast and coffee without a sweetener....ugh. Daughter had hers served to her!

You may have to get your own brekkie this morning.....sorry folks.

Back later.

Wishing your daughter a wonderful birthday Cynthia.

As there was no breakfast this morning I have done lunch

Lancashire Hotpot in oven
Cheese and onion omelette in the warmer
Red cabbage, piccalilli and beetroot on the counter

Freshly made apple pie.
Trifle
Fresh cream (whipped and pouring) in the fridge

Enjoy

OOOhhh Toots - You are a 'life-saver' !!

My VERY favourite - Lancashire Hotpot (Or as we Lancashire folk always call it - 'Tatter 'Ash' !!! ) - AND - I always eat it with either beetroot or pickled red cabbage !!! - It turns everything left on your plate all 'pinky'... ..... Yummm !!!

Had to be up and out early this morning. I've just got back and could smell the lunch as I opened the door - What a treat !

Thank you SO much.

I have been looking at your problem with Thomas Knight all afternoon and you are right, it just does not add up.

Is this something you are working on on a thread, if so, can you give the link to the thread please?

FannyByGaslight Report 30 Dec 2010 17:38

We have it back on in the bathroom and hot water in the kitchen but the cold tap seems to have run dry and not returned.
I am going to call Sparky later, hes good at plumbing too,and try and get him over here to sort it out.
Trouble is the cold water pipe is under the concrete on the kitchen floor,so we may have to put a new cold pipe in cos NO WAY is my kitchen floor being jackhammered up..
But will have to wait and see what he says really.

Easier to look for a new oven online isnt it?I try to identify what ,where, price and then go and look at it before I buy.Normally one trip does it..

Dea

Dea Report 30 Dec 2010 18:10

Call him soon Fans - just for some advice.

It sounds like you are using the water from the hot water tank and if the cold water isn't working it will not be filling up so you cant have it on if it runs dry!

However, if things are working correctly, if there is no cold water coming in, you should not be able to run off any hot (don't ask me why as I am not that technical, but it IS a fact).

Give him a ring and ask his advice.

I have a combi emmersion and the cold water from the mains is going in that (direct feed its called I think,no tank in the loft)..so we have cold and hot in the bathroom which is first in line for it, hot water ok to the kitchen and the cold has a problem after the bathroom.
Its ok,I do know that its fine to have the emmersion on as the cold water tank in the top half of it is refilling.
I cant call him if hes not in though! And his mobile is turned off or outof signal,so it will have to wait
