I have just had to uninstall my printer and then reinstall,dont know what I did the other day but it wouldnt print anything..Grrrrrr...So I took the only route I could think of that I might get right..AND IT WORKED,,!Yipee.

Had a really busy day. Mum had a lie in. Son now online with his new laptop so is happy again and I've got my iPhone back yippee.

Bro no 3 went home today so that's one less to cook for. I'll do the housework tomorrow ready for Mum's carer starting back on Wednesday.

Cynthia have you got your boiler fixed?

I think she is still 'thwacking' it for the moment Toots but it is all 'in hand' !!

Dea, I don't have nets anymore......too much like hard work. Blinds for me - so much easier.

Toots - nope, boiler pipe not sorted. I was told I would get a phone call today but haven't had one so far! Do not fret, it is all being retained in my little grey cells ready to let British Gas know how I feel.


Spent ages today trying to upload photos onto FB. Managed after a phone call to daughter. They are photos of the dogs we have owned over the years. I loved all my dogs and wept bitterly when each of them died. Feel free to have a look.


My daughter is 40 on Thursday and I have done a photo book for her. I've chosen pics from our albums and put them in a date order with a funny little rhyme underneath. I am impressed with the result, even if I say so myself.....

Need some help here but I don't think anyone can give it - DON'T feel bad if you can't as it is a very tricky one !!

I need to go to bed soon as I am very tired but I don't want to go because I have these REALLY horrible nightmares !!

I have to take a lot of strong medications because of my various illnesses and one of the side effects is 'nasty dreams' - I call them 'reallity dreams' because they usually involve the people and family I know and the places I am familiar with, but it nasty context!!

When I wake up, I am still in the dream and I have to try very hard to get out of it !!

I had a really horrific one this morning as I was waking and I can still see it vividly -I don't want to go back there and continue it, so I don't want to go back to bed as it will still be there !!

I KNOW this sounds strange but unfortunately it is real to me - Does anyone else have the same problem ??

I just need some hugs to get through it !!!

Thanks Ginns - I have talked to my Doctor - she is VERY good but I HAVE to take the medication and the side effects along with it !!

Some of them are getting less but the nightmares continue ...

Give my love to your friend !! - perhaps we could share 'nasty dreams' one day !!

Good Evans Dea..That will give you worse nightmares I would have thought..
I often have bad nightmares even though Im not on any meds,HID often has to wake me from them,but I dont dream of loved ones thank goodness..But when I do its normally bad in real life as something has happened..
My nightmares started after a bad time in the early Noughtys and I dont see them stopping..The worst ones are when I dream I have woken up,feel safe,and then realise its still a bad dream when something else happens..I dislike the "fog"ones the most..Cant see,feel,touch or anything,just a foggy void..
And I often fear going to sleep as I never know when a bad one is going to happen...So I know exactly how you feel Dea..((((((X)))))

I have taught myself to recognise when Im dreaming now and talk myself out of it sometimes if its a bad one,but not often enough though.

I suffered for many years with nightmares concerning my children and family
And also became nervous about sleeping and eventually saw a Psychiatrist

I was taught how to relax my whole body from tip of toes to top of head - firstly -
then taught to say before falling asleep - if I have a dream I do not like to shout out - Irene is only a nightmare Wake up Now - and to repeat this over and over as I fell asleep

Sound crazy but it absolutely worked for me - and very quickly too

And I had suffered from a very little girl until in my late 20 s


I feel for you Dea - talk to your Doctor please
