Well, That's it !! - All done !! - Everything 'got there' in the end, as it always does.

Hope you all had a lovely day - I did!

Dinner was VERY late 'coz son brought the grandchildren over just when I should have been putting Dinner on so it was almost 2 hour late going in,
therefore, it was almost 2 hours late coming out and being eaten (but VERY delicious it was too!!).

Anyway, now I have all this food which I should be eating at Tea time but I am still too full from lunch to even think about it! - I think I will have to put it in the freezer for another day!

Anyway, another Christmas over - I hope I will still be here to enjoy the next one !

Well, we're home now. OH was a bit underpar mid morning but bucked up and we went to our son's for a wonderful Christmas dinner. Came home early though because of his meds and he was developing the Parkinson's 'twitch'.

Anyway, the main thing is, we made it and were able to see the grand children with their prezzies.

Will relax now. Probably not many around today!

Hope OH will feel better soon.

You both have a nice relax - that is what I am doing just now.

Is your oven hot yet Ginns ???

I have one of those - It would have cost £800 - £900 but I got it for free as a replacement for the one I had which I had under an extended warranty!! - The original one was brilliant but the door came loose and they couldn't get a new door so had to give me a new cooker.

This one is absolute rubbish !!!!!!!!!!

All I can say is 'at least I didn't pay all that money for it' !!

I DO wish I had my old one back though !!

Fans,

I Hope you got to 'the pub' for your lunch!!

DO be careful though if you have no water and your pipes are frozen. - More often than not, this leads to a burst pipe and a flooded house when it starts to thaw!!

I DO hope you don't have this problem.

Fans has frozen pipes.....not a lot one can say really.

Oh.....you mean your HOUSE pipes!!!

Would you like me to pop round with my trusty broom and give a good thwack as I am now an expert.

Thanks Dea....at least I know you will be sympathetic to me. I bet Gins is at the sleeping stage now. My cooker is very basic as I don't enjoy cooking that much. As long as it has 4 burners and an oven, that's fine by me. Wouldn't know what to do with an all singing all dancing one.

I got a Shaun the Sheep airfreshener from my son and 3 Shaun dvds from OH and daughter. They know I am mad!

Dea

Dea Report 25 Dec 2010 18:50

Unfortunately Cynths, Fans frozen house pipes are more likely to need a 'cutting out and re-soldering in a new piece' in place of the split bit. They won't respond to a 'good thwacking ' (OH I DO love that word!!) like your boiler pipe!
