Uh huh! First up again I see. Well, the sooner our Sylvs is back, the better!

Dea? Are you around? Need a hand here.

Right, before the grandkids wake up.........

A vast choice of cereal is available...all on the worktop
Porridge is near the microwave.

Bacon is grilling/frying nicely.
Sausages are sizzling away.
Mushrooms are resting in the oven.
Fried bread about to go in.
Eggs are waiting to be fried/scrambled or poached.
Tomatoes will be the finishing touch

Breads of all kinds are waiting to be toasted or warmed through.

The kettle is heating up.
A variety of teas and coffees are on display.

Cream and milk are in the fridge.

The beautiful, intelligent waitress is here and ready to serve you.

Oh! Should have said the waitress is me in case you didn't guess
hahahahaha

Once the kids are up and showered, my granddaughter has been given the task of making a crumble ready for tomorrow. Grandson will also be making some cakes. Then their dad will pick them up from work at lunchtime and take them home.

Morning all.

Good morning Cynthia.

Here I am to give you a hand, although everything is just about done..........

What a lovely 'spread'!

I will remove everything to the warmers and finish off frying the bread. - Tomatoes are now grilled.

Good Morning everyone.

Just getting ready to do last bit of Christmas Shopping.  Once lunchtime comes, what we ain't got we'll do without.

I'm really angry at brother who lives 10 mins away.  He ain't calling in over Christmas to see Mum.  She is 85 and so there won't be many more we can spend together.  I don't expect him to stay for dinner if he don't want but he could call in even if it's for 5 mins to see Mum.  I will be having words with him later.  His excuses don't wash with me.  He'd be there if he wanted something so he can make an effort for Mum's sake.  Sorry rant over.

Just discovered I'm going to be a great aunt.  My nephew and his long term girlfriend are expecting their first baby.  My Mum's first great grandchild.  Very exciting.  6months to go.  I can see a trip to Sweden in the future.  How Mystic Meg of me :-)

Great breakfast spread you both have provided.

Unfortunately I don't eat brekkie, so I'll just grab a coffee if you don't mind.

No time for brekkie - will keep going on coffee

Congratulation Toots - more births you will not have to search for !!!

Do your best to convince brother - for your Mum - she need not know he is being coerced !!

Hope all goes well

Loved the third comment -

Gins

Think bad weather - causing postal delays first

Second - directory enquiries for telephone number

Third - surely ex fiancé knows you exchange cards

And would have let you know

Toots......I would be tempted to give your brother 'down the banks' as they say round here. He needs to be reminded of his responsibilities and his loyalty to his mum. That sort of thing really makes me see red so I quite agree with you.

Gins - I go with Irene on the possible causes for not receiving a card. If none of the above apply, then maybe a look at her online local papers just in case she has passed away since last year.

The tribe have now gone home. They are absolutely no bother but I haven't stopped all morning! Granddaughter made a lovely summer fruit crumble for tomorrow and grandson made lots of chocolate rice crispie cakes for the youngsters who will be there. 2 jobs well done.

Can now chill for a bit. Anything we haven't got we will have to do without.

Gee Report 24 Dec 2010 13:59

Hmmmm

I did think about the post being late etc..Ive tried DE and nothing listed

Not sure ex would know I send a card and not sure he would even think about contacting me...the man thing you know!

I might jump in the car and take the hour drive to see if she is OK....Im so worried about her

Fanny....he'd get more than a kick up the jaxy from me.
