Afternoon everyone! I is here.


Poor Dea.......lonesome she is. I am around but messaging at the mo. Why not try the other boards for lookups Dea? People post queries all over the place and there must be someone who would appreciate your expertise.


Very good turn out at our cenotaph service this morning. I'm sure the crowd gets bigger every year. There are bands and a large parade of British Legion, youth organisations and veterans. The police are out in force and everyone is invited back to a free hotpot lunch in a local ballroom. We came back to steak and kidney casserole at home.


On my way home, I had the feeling of being hunted. A car passed us with the reg FBG and, within seconds, another one.....FAN. I got over the shock though.

If you take a look at the other boards Dea you will see there are quite a few threads way over the 10k mark, so we should be ok.

I think I am going to ask the men posters thier age before I start helping in future if they are over 70 ignore anything they say, 3 hours I was on a thread last night when infact he knew nothing but by 5 am I had to go to bed and then the truth came out

The fact he did'nt know when his adoptive mother was born obviously. He kept going on about this particular birth reg as though it was correct, if he had told us when she died it stated she was 5 years older than he thought aghhh.
Such a waste of time really.
There is another one who comes back every 24 hours adds one comment which does not help then goes, in the end I said I give up and good luck so he sent me a pm and it still does'nt help.

Finished! It think the drop down thingey for new posters on TTF may be working. Haven't had to send as many messages out from that board over the last couple of days.


Dea, lots of folk put your sort of lookup on Records so you won't feel out of place and people would be grateful to you. I check all of the boards all of the time.

Sorry Dea my 24 hour man has just returned lol

I think with the older generation they dont want to know the truth, they believe what they have been told and thats that.
I know if I found some dirt on HID's family I doubt if his 85 yr old parents would believe it, where as my parents expected it on my mums side but it was dads side that was worse
