another great job ja...x

Over here, as well as seniors, etc, any one with a serious illness, or health care worker, or caring for someone with serious health problems, are all eleigble for the flu shot, free.

Others who want it but don't fit into the categories can buy the vaccine from a pharmacist, then take it to a doctor.

definitely ask about it

OH had his flu jab last week. I'm not eligible as I am not old enough...........yes, really Fans.......amazing though it may seem!! However, I can usually get one from the hospital because I qualify through being a volunteer.

Cynthia Report 10 Nov 2010 07:51

I think some may read the whole of their threads Gins but either don't/can't take it all in or have tunnel vision as to what they think is right. It seems as though she has signed off from the thread so it may be worth sending her a pm asking for her comments.

Shower time. Bye.

Arrghhh! What's that awful noise? [covers ears with hands and peers round] Oh! It's Fans singing.

Having a brief sit down and coffee before getting the veg ready. Have been working in the kitchen with Granddaughter who finishes school early on Wednesdays -she has made an apple and blackberry crumble and I have made a mince and onion pie and some homemade burgers. She's thoroughly enjoyed herself.

Ah well, back to the veg.

Afternoon girls

Huh after spending a couple of hours on a thread last night I get it questioned!!!.... how very dare they...maybe I'm expecting too much from these people.

Dea

Dea Report 10 Nov 2010 16:25

That sounds lovely Cynthia - How old is she?

My little grand-daughter loves baking with me too, although I do worry about her being ill when she gets home as she eats so much butter, syrup, sultanas, grated chocolate, oats and all the other ingredients while we are preparing things. I end up using SO many spoons as she keeps licking everything off them so I have to get as new one! (tee hee!!)

I have to keep a close eye on her!!

Such fun though!!

Cynthia Report 10 Nov 2010 17:30

Hi Dea, she's 12 and so pleasant to have around. Just waiting for her dad to come and pick her up......he can sample the crumble too! She's actually watching an old John Wayne movie with grandad at the moment and is riveted! (no accounting for taste).

My passport has expired too Dea so I don't think Renes need worry about a mass invasion from this thread!

Better go and check the gravy I suppose. Life is full of excitement. hahaha
