I think not to Janey getting that invitation from GR Cynths!!

Although it would be much deserved, I think she has probably got too many 'blotts on her copybook"

New owners,new start for JC?
Will they know of her "blots"from the old lot?
Or did they get out the sack trolley and wheel her file to them?

Dont think you are allowed to give a bad ref, just refuse to give one?

Cynthia Report 9 Nov 2010 22:02

If it's that boring Gins, why are you reading it?

Sleep tight.

JC has a new best friend at Genes now though doesn't she? Can't remember her name but I'm sure she mentioned it. She'll end up being a consultant's consultant.

Sylvia, publish the &@ing email. That's just the boilerplate brighsolid commercial email blob that goes on all commercial emails. As in:

Yeah, blah blah. You didn't notice me paying attention when I copied my email from my BFF in the update thread!

Anybody who gets the thing *accidentally* shouldn't disclose it, I believe. People can't send you things and then tell you what to do with them.

FannyByGaslight Report 9 Nov 2010 22:31

JC
Why are you

enchanged with it.

The Drucilla name I mean?

Not enchanted then, enchanged is a new one on me,is it a Canuck word?

Edits.
Also this has always made me wonder JC,what does BFF stand for please?BF I know but not BFF.
Mind you I had to ask Gins what some other things were, but I did that by PM as you lot already know I am not the brightest and didnt want to give you more ammo ...

JaneyCanuck

JaneyCanuck Report 9 Nov 2010 22:34

LK, how does a freezer's worth of food thaw in a day??

We've had huge power outages here that lasted days, and the stuff stayed frozen.

The last one was 2 or 3 summers ago. My mum had come 300 miles by bus, train and automobile to visit for 4 days. The day after she got here, northeastern North America blacked out. We were left to our own devices, which wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been a horrific heat wave.

You do stupid things in a blackout. Like sit on the front porch staring blankly down the street trying to catch the least relief from the heat, knowing your air conditioner won't work ... and you think "I'll just go in and turn the fan on" ... And then even though you haven't eaten toast for years, you develop a craving for toast ...
