Finally, one of us has got back to Charlemagne. Or William the Conqueror, or some such. Ten sixty-six and all that.

Do you ever sleep JC or do you just 'plug' yourself in to recharge!

I always suspected LK was older than she was letting on

Janey runs on those batteries which last longer than others..........Duracell? Either that, or she's turbo charged which is why the sparks occasionally fly!

I'm waiting for Fans to trace someone back to being a builder at Stonehenge.

FannyByGaslight Report 8 Nov 2010 14:30

I did.
It was one of our first History lessons at "Big" school.
We followed the Stones(not literally) from the Preseli Mountains that were taken to Salisbury Plains to make it,then we had to make models and reconstruct its building.
So there.
His name was Mr Henge.

Running on caffeine and a spare hour (switched from daylight savings on Saturday night) today. Gotta work that out ... the clock says it's 9:30 a.m. but my body says it's 10:30 a.m. ... I think this would have worked in my favour if I hadn't stayed up all night supposedly working but instead doing one of those I'll-show-her jobs on the Australian Fred case. Judy's the name, should you want to see the game. Count the months from blastocyst to neonate ... who's yer daddy? ;)

FBG, you know they've revised the age of Stonehenge since your stoneage school days? It was a recent development when we were there in '94. Couple o' 1000 years older than they'd been saying all along. So don't think you can cheat and get away with tracing back only to the old version.

FannyByGaslight Report 8 Nov 2010 14:41

Noooooo.
I am not doing it all over again, thats what I have had to do on my No3s Daddies tree cos I took a wrong turn on someone and only realised 2 days ago when I took it off the shelf, blew the dust and cobwebs off and found the 1911 for one of them that I had never looked for as I havent had time or inclination since it went subs.
Lighting the fire with the wrong branch tonight..;)
Shows I AM human after all.

Who is Judy?

Must be the weather affecting you lot.....grumpy or what??

It's only 3.30 and it's going dark..........a real November day outside. Finished my ironing and just wondering what else if anything, to do! May just be idle for a while.

Pakleds. Out in force. Yours is a prime example there, FBG!

Pakleds tended to be rather obsequious at least, though.

Ms. P has deleted 'em all, or almost all. ;)

It's like that here too Cynthia,

SO wet and miserable - it has been quite dark for nearly an hour now!!

Such a shame as we had tomorrow planned for 'grandson'

He is obsessed with tools, digging, cement mixers, mowing lawns - anything mechanical or connected to tools !!

He is two - His father is a plumber and since before he was born, they have been building an extension, knocking down walls, hammering and sawing etc., so 'grandson' puts on his little 'hard hat' and gets on with it !!!

Anyway, the garden was covered with leaves and we have one of those vacuum things which suck them up so we decided tomorrow when he comes would be the day to let him loose with that !! - He would have LOVED it !!!

It is now SO wet that he won't be able to do it - such a shame.

Never mind though, hopefully it will dry up by next week and we can let him loose on it then.

We might have to take him to B & Q instead and let him loose in the DIY and maintenance department.

(Such a strange child!!!) Xxx
