	Your PM New message to Ginny From Kathleen Thank you it sounds possible. Alexander was stated to be a Shoe maker on Davids marriage cert. But any thing is possible. The info re David too sounds good altho he married in Kirkcudbrightshire and was employed at Balmaghie Stables I therefore assumed thats where they were from. Member Since: June 2004 Posts: 18 Send Message	Can anyone find Alexander Clark married to Elizabeth nee Laing both born c 1848 probably in Kirkcudbrightshire, son named David born c 1886. David married my great aunt and they went to South Africa. Cannot find any info re their life in Scotland before marriage in 1914. Thanks
