Thank you Flick, it was the salford marriage I was confused about as it had Abraham born 1831 in Hull and I wondered for a while if he had 2 families. As there was no fast transport between the two places not very likely.

There doesn't appear to be a marriage on freebmd for the couple in Hull on 1861 census.

The only marriage of an Abraham to Elizabeth in approx year is in Manchester - which is obviously the couple in Salford in 1871 etc

NOT relevant as such...but a clear example of why submitted records on the IGI should be taken with a pinch of salt............

This is a submitted entry based on the inaccurate 1881 census transcription!!!!!!!!!!
