Thanks for the info Ellen, I had most of it apart from his death, and pics on Ancestry now that's something to think on, this family tree biz should all be in one place, I joined this site originally, then findmypast (for the 1911 census) and now Ancestry might be calling, I was thinking about it anyway but the lure of pics might tempt me more, thanks once again and excuse the moan lol

Hello Everyone

I'm trying to find my Great Grandmothers maiden name, her name is Alice and she was born in 1857 in Leicester, she married Frank Herbert (Who was also born in Leicester - 1858) I found one marriage for a Frank Sydney Herbert in July 1881 who may or may not be him, how would I go about finding out who he married, any pointers would be great thanks.
