I have found a David Mcconnel Reed born c1811 West Indies Jamaica living Queens Street, Bray Berkshire in 1881 aged 70 a M D HONS. Edin Hosp but it it said his wife is Susanna.
Found on IGI so dont know if this is him or not.

Hi Maddie update, Death of David is correct as i have found him on 1881 census living with new wife and 2 children in Maidenhead.Must have left Caroline as the children were born in 1866 and 1871.Philippa

Thanks Maddie, Will have to check them. Edwin in 1871 lived in Brighton at 148 Western Rd and was a Homeopathic Chemist. Caroline in 1871 lived at 17 Limes Grove Lewisham. Philippa

Hi, Edwin (chemist) married on 4 may 1876 St george Hanover Sq to Elizabeth Mansford (widow) . Her fathers name is Thomas Meads or Meade (farmer). I cannot find them on any census I wonder if anybody can help. Edwin was born in London to David Mcconnell Reed and Caroline Le Neve.Thanks Philippa
