Find Ancestors

Hi i'm new to this site

I've got back to 1867 with my great great grandad

Unfortunatly i'm now stuck at a point where I cannot find anything else

all I know is that they were from Lancashire, he was a stretcher bearer in the war and he eventually opened up a hairdressing shop in huddersfield which was passed down through the generation

if anyone at all can help then please get in touch.

Also searching on Vizard but not as concerned with this for now x

Edmund Nield was born in 1867 and is all I really know about him

However alot of the people on that list are in my familly tree.

Pardon me for not putting a name at first, thought I had:

Edmund Nield 1867 is as far back as I have got, he was married to Matilda Coates

They had Hilda, Doris and Edmund (Jr) Nield. Edmund (Jr) married Ada Wood, and from there stems my Grandad and my familly as I know now x

Yes.....I have posted the family in question at home on the 1911 census, they have been married 15 years.

There were 5 children born in the marriage up to 1911, 3 living and 2 deaths,

And his mother Betsy (since remarried and widowed obviously) is with him in 1911 - so a very good match with the 1871 census I posted I would think.
