Find Ancestors

My great great grandfather William Warby was born c1815. I have not been able to find out or confirm who his parents were. He married Elizabeth Bates in 1835. I have been advised to check with the County Records Office. Is there some kind person that may be able to help me out? Kind regards. Bob

There is this record but Im not sure at all. The census records have him born 'Aldenham' I have no idea where this is in relation to this Weston?

Thanks Brummiejan and Ginny for your information. I think Ginny that Aldenham is in the same area as Weston but I am not positive about this - I live in Australia and geography was not one of my strengths at school.

There are these as well, probably why Robert is not sure.

Hmmm, just checked google and there is 67 miles between Weston and Aldenham

Quite a distance in those days so maybe the wrong William

It would be well worth contacting the person who corrected the names, who refers to personal research.

Everyone in the household is shown as born in Aldenham. That can sometimes be iffy -- birth places of convenience (I live here, what the heck, I was born here) were common.
