Find Ancestors

I am trying to find William Henry Mugford as his name appears on my grandmothers and her siblings birth certificates. I dont know anything else about him. He wasnt married to my great grandmother Mabel Ellen Westaway 1883 but they had 8 children starting with Doris in 1906. All the children were born in Marldon in Devon. I think he was previoulsy married to Jane Martha Williams on the 1901 census but on the 1911 she was with someone else and had a child . I cant find William or Mabel or the 3 or 4 children they had by then on the 1911 census.
Any help or information on him or Mabel would be great. Sue

william is a child of william and mabel. the child he had with jane is called mildred and had the name hynes on her birth records... he was the man she was with.

I wonder if the family found by Flick in 1891 is the same as the one I found in 1881?

i am not sure?? He seems correct by the age etc but the other members of the family dont?
I ordered a birth cert for a William Henry Mugford August 8th 1875 but the parents are Robert Dart Mugford and Jane Mugford formerly Matthews born in Brixham. Dont think it is the right ones as the marriage cert of William with Jane Williams shows his father as William Mugford...but then how do i know that is the same william as in the 1911 census??

His father was a labourer and he was a labourer.
Both born Paignton/totnes area i think.

Thanks for the advise...i have removed this from the new thread and added to this old one.

I am trying to trace my grandmothers father. He is listed on the eldest childs birth cert as the father...Queenie Violet May Westaway 1906. The other 7 children he had with my gr grandmother Mabel Ellen Westaway 1883 all have his name listed but not under fathers name.
They appear on the 1911 census as husband and wife and the three children born up to that date..Queenie 1906, Doris 1908 and William 1910 all are down as his children. Mabel and William never married as i think he was already married as in 1901 he appears on the census married to Jane Williams.
Mabel married a Thomas Fey in 1937 so i think William must have died before that date. Any help as to who he was would be great. I think his father was a William Mugford.
