On behalf of all of us in NZ I apologise for the bad spellers in this country. I will go searching for a surname only to find a family member has incorrectly spelt it - and I have had a complete waste of time. The Registry information is only as good as what the person who filled in the form at the time wrote.

My grandmother has a middle name on her husband's death certificate. When my grandfather died his brother (for some reason - we hardly ever saw him) filled the registry form in and put his second wife's middle name on it. Once done that's it - they won't change it.

Persey xx

I have a New Zealand death certificate that states that Thomas Warner was born in "Guaster" England. I have googled this and can't find such a place. Does anyone know if a village was named this or where this place could be.
Thanks.
