Don't take everything on LDS as gospel, there are lots of errors as many of the entry's are submitted and therefore not 100% true. |

Lol - certainly would Anne! Do you think then, that I have got this wrong and he was born in Somerset? (His son, John, was born in Hanham, Bristol - just a stones throw from Mangotsfield where Martha herself was born). |

Yes Mel - I think that IS them. their son John certainly settled in the Trevethin area - in fact, I have just found the Baptist church where their great granddaughter got married and that in the Trevethin area too. |

Mel - whereabouts is the census taken? Is it Pontypool itself? Or could it be either Abersychan, Talywain, Garndiffaith or something else? I might be able to find the correct Albion Terrace then (sounds like a soap opera!) |

Mel - thankyou so much for this - it makes a lot of sense with what I already have. Re your comment about batch numbers - do you mean that if the entry has a batch number, its reliable and if its doesnt then its to be treated with caution? |

When you look on IGI familysearch.org if a record is Submitted it means that someone has submitted the record. If it is Extracted it is taken from the Bishops Transcripts and can be beleived. |
