Hi Ginny & JC

I've been going through all this info on Nelson Virtue that you so kindly found for me. Now I'll give you the second part of the dilemma and see if you can suggest where I go from here.
It was a family member who remembers Nelson Virtue going to Canada and I'm trying to find the family connection.
My gggrandfather was Thomas Speer (b. abt 1830) in Ireland. He married Mary ?? and after her death he married Jane Breen in 1856. They had Thomas Speer (1864) my ggrandfather, and Isabella Catherine Speer (1868). After the death of Jane he married Isabella Virtue in 1876, a widow - father given as William Marshall, and witnesses were Robert Irvine and Robert Speer.

Isabella Catherine Speer married Robert John Virtue in 1891, fathers given as Thomas Speer and Robert Virtue, witnesses David Johnston and George Virtue. Thomas Virtue who was born in 1894 and killed in 1917 was the son of Isabella Irvine (formerly Virtue).
You see, with all these Virtues I'm getting quite confused trying to find where Nelson fits in.
Thanks
Yvonne
