I think it is just disabilities that arise from being born prematurely.

Sorry Shannon

I was adding that edit when you were offering your thanks.

If they died before 1959 you will be able to view the death entries online.

The death entries will give the father's name and occupation and the mother's name including her maiden surname so you will be sure if you have the correct entries.

good luck

The cost of credits that Flick has given you is correct. Births after 1909, marriages after 1934 and deaths after 1959 cannot be viewed online. You would need to order certificates for those. You can search the later indexes at Scotlandspeople to find the year, distrcit number and entry number that you would need to order the certificates. It cost 1 credit to view each search result.

EDIT

On re-reading your posting, if they died before 1959 you will be able to view the death entries online. To view an entry it costs 5 credits. When you do the search, you can put in an approximate birth year +/- 10 years. You can also narrow the years that you want to search. Try to watch because you can get up to 23 results to one page using 1 credit, so try to maximise this facility. You can also select the county i.e. Glasgow City to get the maximum benefit for your credits.

Misunderstood your request - sorry

You'll need Scotlands people, which isn't free to view info.

And it isn't a subscription site, which means that people are unlikely to be willing to look at images for you.

Units can be bought for £6.00 - I think you get about 30, but I have never needed to use the site, so I may be wrong about that

sorry if I made that unclear they are children of William and Annie Murray :-)

Flick

Flick Report 19 May 2010 16:05

You'll need the marriage cert, to find out how old they were when they married..........and Jean's surname.
