As far as I can see:-
William Richard Treviss marries Emily Gill and go on to have three girls:-
Emily, Alice and Sarah Elizabeth.
Sarah E. has a daughter Lilian in Mar 1885 and in Oct.1885 marries Philip Garcia, who may or not be the father of Lilian as Lilian's birth record is under the name of Treviss:-

Sarah has Lilian christened in Jan 1886 under her maiden name.
Sarah and Philip have a daughter Emily in 1886.
William Rich. dies in 1898 and Sarah in 1900.
Lilian and Emily are raised by Philip and Grandmother Emily and in 1903 Lilian marries Henry Kennedy .
In 1911 she, and her family, can be found living with her Grandmother Emily.
Emily, (the sister), goes on to marry Albert Higginson in 1906.
In 1911 Philip is found living with Edith (probably Franklin) and her daughter Queenie. They are noted as being married although I haven't looked for a marriage so they could just be living together.
I haven't looked for Emily and Albert in 1911 so don't know where they were, but I did find another child for them:-

i didnt have any concrete evidence to say Lillian was Sarah's sister,i just took the records i had at face value(a little naive,maybe)
i have all the records above so i dont know how i missed it really.So let me get this straight,you DO think Lillian married a kennedy,but gave her grandads surname & occupation on her marriage cert,but gave her step fathers forename?
Although the last record on this thread is VERY interesting,Philip was my gg grandfather ,its interesting to know he re-married,Emily Miriam was my nan's mum,and Albert was her half brother,i recently visited his grave in a town about 10 miles from where i live.kind regaeds Lisa.again many thanks,,its much appreciated xxx

Philip Garcia in 1911, so he was not deceased at the time of Lilian's marriage. (she was probably referring to her Grandfather when stating this on the marriage record especially as it was he that was the Cabinet Maker):-

Lilian is noted here as daughter, but she is not the daughter of William and Emily but there Granddaughter (see birth record for Lilian).
She is probably noted as daughter to keep up appearances.

(Note Sarah is now married to "Philip")
So Lilian, being the illegitimate daughter of Sarah, looks to have put her Step Father's christian name down on her marriage record, but also used her Grandfather's surname and his occupation, probably because she was raised by him).

(My Granmother did the same thing, so it was not uncommon to lie a little to save face.)

This looks to be the Emily in 1911 census who is Lilian's Grandmother!

How do you know that Lilian's father was William and not Phillip?

What info do you have to back this up?

The marriage already found is the only one I can see for Lilian Treviss to ? Kennedy, so do you have the birth certs. of the children you mention in your thread heading?

I thought you were looking for descendants of Lilian's children, are you also looking for her ancestors then?

Hi Guys,i've got some bad news!!!
i much appreciated all your hard work yesterday,as you all know its so frustrating when you hit a brick wall!!
i got so very excited when i read your posts.Then i came across the one that said Lilian's father was Philip Treviss,My Lilian's father was William Richard treviss!!! as you can imagine i was gutted,i have only just up graded on Ancestry so i was unable to see hand written records.
i feel so embarassed that i've wasted the time of all you generous kind people,i can only apologise,im so very sorry,i'll have to start back at square 1 to try and find lilians husband,if she ever had one!!!!!!! again thanks for your invaluable help,kind regards Lisa :(

It looks as if they were living with Lilian's grandmother at that time as Lilian is her granddaughter and it is strange that they put Henry down as grandson in law

Henry Kennedy age 35 born 1868 married Lilian Treviss age 19 in 1903 st Mark Shoreditch father of Henry is William deceased at time of marriage who was a costar monger and father of Lilian was Philip deceased at time of marriage who was a cabinet maker

Henry was also a coster monger

more children found on london records on ancestry could be more as it only goes up to 1905
