my Dad's half brother was Bert (Albert) Avery born in Portsmouth around 1880, I am in work at the moment so dont have exact dates on me

his parents were Charles Colwell Avery and Florence Avery (Pullen)
Bert was in the Royal Navy

As yet, we haven't ascertained who the father of Albert and Dawn is. It's looking likely that Albert was possibly born prior to the marriage of Charles Avery and Ivy Thomas but without the birth certificate which will verify the names of the parents I'm finding it hard to pin down a marriage with any confidence.


IF the father is Charles Avery then he is in Barnstaple in 1901 but I don't want to post any more information regarding him as I'm not sure he is the correct father yet.
