The 1911 census shows Ernest with 2nd wife, Elizabeth and new son, Cyril (your father) ; plus 3 of his 4 children from the earlier , 1901, census.

Next was Ernest 2nd marriage to Elizabeth Bailey, the other names are another couple who were also married at that time.

Then I went looking for Helen/Ellen Amelia on the 1911 census and found the possibility with the Hill family.

Cyril's birth is registered the same time as Gertrudes death.... maybe as a result of the childbirth ???

Also found this marriage .... but you would have to buy the certificate to learn her fathers name to know if she was 'your' Gertrude Sybil...
