No sorry I don't have his birth certificate Clare, but he was in the 1891 census and it states that he is the son of Margaret Reynolds, although I think by that time I think Margaret Reynolds was a widow by that time.

Also, I think the last census I posted is a bit of a long shot!

Thanks for looking for me Margaret, I would have thought this could be the family, although the head of the family is called Owen and he is a tailor.
Which is a shame as this would have been ideal.

But, the wife's died..so there couldn't be any more children..unless he remarried obv. But right fathe's name, age is a few years out but born in Ireland. Wrong proffession, and a bit too far east??

Just got these in 1861 - so I'm guessing the Newcastle marriage isn't him! Good to rule it out though.

It may be correct, I think that his wife also came from Galway in Ireland, but I don't know if they got married on Ireland or Middlesorough seen their first child was born there.
